Section Detail
I recently just completed my studio project for the Spring semester. We were given a program to design an independent film studio in Houston, TX. I wanted to design this building to really engage the public so that the design did not look like a typical private building, but rather a building where it was inviting to both private and public. The digital facade and the opaque channel glass creates this form within the site to achieve a very subtle approach to my design. The digital facade allows me to involve the public so that they may view movies, commercial, short films, etc. while the opaque channel glass intrigues those who see the building and are interested to interact inside and out. While this simple form is separated into three levels it allows me to utilize the entire program and create a multipurpose building for the Houston community.
